We have heard that HTC has rumored to be launching M7 phone, whose details are not year clear, but rumors are targeting to the launch of a new flagship phone from the company. It is predicted to be a device that is likely to go against the Samsung Galaxy S IV. The beginning of 2013 looks like a busy time for big-name launches.
This device is said to be called the HTC M7, and looks like it is quite far away from the HTC Deluxe DLX, a device still with an outside chance of a UK launch, despite HTC’s own Facebook team denying the information.
If the M7 is going to launch, it probably makes sense for a non-launch of the Deluxe DLX. Similar to the DLX, the M7 has a 5 inch HD display, along with a Qualcomm APQ8064 quad-core processor. The unit is also equipped with a mighty 13 Megapixel camera and a uni body aluminium shell.
HTC is said to be operating with semiconductor and casing suppliers in an attempt to secure enough components to manufacture 4 to 5 million units of the HTC M7 in the first quarter of 2013, with the idea of launching just ahead of the Galaxy S IV in an effort to boost market share and sales for that first quarter.
Phones of HTC have a habit of leaking well ahead before launch, so if the M7 is composed for an early launch, we would expect images of that handset to appear online maybe before the year is over.
