Screen Capture Feature for Optimus L Series Launched by LG

LG Mobile Communications have launched a new feature called QuickMemo for all its Optimus L Series smartphones through a maintenance release upgrade.

The QuickMemo app offers instant screen capture of any type of contents such as graphical images, webpage’s, videos and photos, says LG.

Users can not only draw and write, but can also note a memo directly on the captured screen with their finger. QuickMemo notes can then be shared with others through text, chat, or email. QuickMemo can be brought up by pressing the volume keys or through the notification bar, only after users download the upgrade.

Paul Bae, VP of marketing centre of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company said, ’The QuickMemo is one of the representing features for LG’s UX (user experience) to enhance the quality of communication by sharing ideas with more personalisation”.

Not all countries can avail this upgrade, as it is currently offered in certain regions, but it will be accessible globally by the end of the third quarter.

The roll out of QuickMemo on Optimus L Series smartphones will be accompanied by a global TV commercial with the theme of ‘Connect to What’s Real’.

The QuickMemo upgrade will be available for download through LG Mobile’s homepage or by visiting a service centre in markets where Optimus L Series’ handsets are sold.

Those who are not aware of the smartphones belonging to Optimus L Series, they are the Optimus L7, L5, and L3, and are available in either black or white. A pink edition will also be introduced to the series soon by LG.
