The Sony Dash has a 7 inch capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 800×480. USB 2.0 connections are available on the device with audio out ports as well. Playing HD videos, streaming audio, playing photo slide shows, adding your own media can be easily done on the device.
You can stream content through apps of the Dash from Netflix™, Pandora™ radio, and You Tube™. Make use of the full featured alarm clock system and the option to display weather and news, allowing you to update yourself daily in the morning.
You can use the Sony Dash as an online recipe guide and a radio alarm clock by setting it up in the kitchen. The device could be a handy addition to homes, fulfilling certain needs of people. Sony has informed that they will not be updating the app store but there are over 1000 types of apps, which could be sufficient enough for use.

The Sony tablet comes with a personal Internet viewer that is very hard to categorize as it does not do anything extremely new or better than smart phones. It can be setup like an alarm clock on a nightstand or table top as it has the screen and dimensions of a tablet.
