Spice Mobile – Add More Spice to Gaming

Spice may not be one of the leading companies in the world but are known for manufacturing quality devices in India. They have continued to deliver nothing but the best with breakthrough products, impeccable technology and unmatched performance.

Spice Mobile like the Spice X-1 is one of their best creations which comes at a very affordable price tag and is worth taking a look. The device has been designed keeping youngsters in mind, who enjoy playing  games occasionally.

Display and Build:

The Spice Mobile comes with an attractive design with a display of 2.4 inches and resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The phone has volume keys, dedicated camera key, and the proprietary slot for the USB, charger and gaming console connector located on one side also three dedicated music keys are on the opposite side, above the hot-swap microSD card slot. The shortcut keys to the browser and game section come in handy.

 Camera:

Quality of output from the camera is not best but is neither that bad. The device comes with a 2 Megapixel camera with features such as a webcam. The keypad is one of the positives of this device as it can be used to access various functions and settings, from white balance to image size, effects and timer. The colors may not be as sharp as that of some other phone cams we’ve seen but it’s still pretty good. Make sure you adjust the brightness, as point-and-shoot mode in low light conditions tends to result in pictures that are a bit dark.

Gaming:

The Spice Mobile can also be called a gaming phone as it supports NES ROM files with no issues. It works well with Gameboy and Gameboy Color ROMs with GB, GBC extensions and also the ambitious Super Nintendo SMC ROMs.

There are two action keys above the display which allows you to play all games with ease. Most of the keys on the keypad can be used for various functions and the shortcut Media and Browser keys can also be used. It quite enjoyed playing all those old games.

Media:

Sound and entertainment is something that keeps you on the groove at any point of time. This device provides most of the necessary entertainment features such as a radiator grill like studded compartment housing a speaker duly supported by a YAMAHA Amp. Sound quality is great and loud so is the output of music and videos.

Overall the Spice Mobile X-1 is a device occupying decent features at an affordable price tag. This phone is primarily a gaming handset with a Get Gaming tagline but it also has a decent number of features bundled along.
